Halloween Witch

Vonda the witch is to-date, my best finished work, in my own opinion. Strangely enough though, I often forget having worked on this project; I was caught with a flu shortly after finishing this one, so the memory's a little hazy. But it's always a welcome rush of memory when I see Vonda's face.

No luck with streaming this time; Livestream wouldn't let me log in, and uStream wasn't particularly cooperative either. But there's always next time! For future reference, here's my 'stream location:

Well, I don't do much drawing traditionally, so you've got me beat there. =D
I really like how you did the eyes, drawing eyes is one of the things I've been practicing a lot recently. Came out great.

Resolution/size: 300/600 dpi
Color mode: CYMK
Dimensions: A4 paper size with 3mm bleed around.


Uh...say, that's for a contest...the Kiseki contest or something....this might be a stupid question but since you know what's going around here, well...from that info, does that mean it has to be digital art?

Hmm, those are all the rules there? It doesn't appear to say anything about digital or traditional, just that the final image has to be on the computer in the format they listed.
It seems like it's geared towards digital art, since those are fairly standard digital dimensions (300dpi is generally the most popular, CYMK color is the best for printing, and A4 size is your general 9" by 12"). But I don't think there's anything that'll stop you from making a traditional piece of artwork, scanning it in at that size and resolution, and entering it.

Yeah, found it. Definitely looks like you can go either way, it just needs to be an illustration (drawn, either digitally or traditionally).

Hmm, it's basically a reworked official sprite, eh? Should be okay to use; I'd ask someone like Nate or TTE about it first though (Nate because he's EiC on the archives and should know if we need a sprite, or TTE because he knows just about everything).
If you do use it, make sure it's mentioned on the file page that it's an edited temporary sprite, and give credit to the artist for it.
